"A Highlands' Fling" Join the vintners of the Santa Lucia Highlands for this second annual, exclusive tasting. Sample limited release gems and hard-to-get vintages, offered by the winemakers themselves and paired to elegant hors d'oeuvres from Master Chef Kurt Grasing.
The setting will once again be beautiful Paraiso Winery; scheduled to pour their Santa Lucia Highlands' releases are Bernardus, Manzoni, Morgan, Paraiso, Pisoni, ROAR, Talbott, Tondre, Pelerin, Tudor, McIntyre, Hahn, Testarossa, Pessagno, Belle Glos, Mer Soleil, Joullian, La Rochelle, Siduri, and others.
The event runs from 2 pm to 5 pm; tickets are $85, very limited, and sold exclusively through The Santa Lucia Highlands web site.

The 16th Annual Winemakers’ Celebration will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 12-4pm at the Custom House Plaza in downtown Monterey. The Winemakers’ Celebration incorporates wine tasting with education, food, music and fun! In addition to over 45 Monterey County wineries pouring their special wines for the day, educational wine displays and unique seminars will be offered. An extraordinary silent auction will accompany the day’s festivities. All of this occurs to the beat of a local band.
